Communicating Components

• Smart components communicate to share system information
• Motor controller sends information to Digital Battery Monitor for display
• Battery state and charge/discharge rate visible at a glance
• Time to discharge and running current visible when running
• Charge controller combines multiple sources (wind generator, solar panels, shore power charger) into one charging voltage and sends information to display (available early 2010)
• Dc-Dc converter provides 12Vdc output, reducing or eliminating need for house battery. Converter also sends power consumption information to display (available early 2010)
